I love my dogs, a lot! They are my beloved pets, and the puppies are just an awesome bonus that I get to share with others.
About Rosemary Goldens:
I run a small, home-based program focused on quality over quantity.
The dogs are part of our daily lives—not raised in kennels or isolated spaces. I don’t rush the process, and I don’t cut corners.
- Actively involved with the Golden Retriever Club of America on the Social Media Committee
- Have served on the boards of the Golden Retriever Club of the Ozarks and the Greater Kansas City Dog Training Club
- Have taught Obedience Classes at the GKCDTC
- CGC Evaluator
- Taken courses through Good Dog and AKC for breeding; always reading and attending webinars to continue to build my knowledge base
- Currently in the process of becoming an AKC Obedience Judge
All of the dogs hold various AKC titles. However, I believe the top priority is to focus on health. This is done through through meeting the health testing requirements set forth by recognized organizations such as OFA, AKC, Good Dog and GRCA.
For Rosemary Goldens, this includes:
- OFA Hips
- OFA Elbows
- PennHip
- Echocardiogram (Heart)
- Eyes (Done Yearly)
- DNA Panel through Embark
- Dental exam
All of the above are viewable through the OFA website, by searching the dog's registered name.
